The Zurich Development Center was conceived around the notion of people. It is a place where people come together, to learn, to experiment, to work and to communicate, both individually and as groups. In keeping with this notion, we have put together an international art collection that represents the reality of the human being in all of its facets. The motto "Zurich is People" has been interpreted by various artists: people from the focus of all the works on display.

You can get a brochure of our current art collection at reception.

In case an emergency evacuation is required, you will be instructed to leave the Building.

The emergency meeting point / assembly area is located at Keltenstrasse 45, opposite Building A (Reception). Please take note of the map posted behind the entrance door of your room for escape routes.

The Zurich Development Center does not provide porter service.

We offer our guests a wide range of different pillows (separate leaflet). Please order your special pillow before 10 pm at the reception.

Beverages including soft drinks are available 24 hours in the lounges in Buildings A and B. Wine and beer are served from 4 p.m. and with dinner in the Restaurant in Building A.

In Building F, beverages are available in the designated service zones as well as in the winter garden at first level in Building A

There are also refreshments in the Wellness and Fitness Center.

Hard liquor is not available on the premises.

E-bikes and “fat-boys”-mountain bikes are available for use and can be arranged through the Reception.

One workstation in the Lobby of main Building A is at your disposal 24 hours 7 days a week. Further the iStudy is at your disposal.

Check-in time is 2.00 p.m.
Check-out time is 12.00 noon. Should we need you to check-out early, you will be informed by your workshop leader or the Reception team on the evening prior to your departure. For late check-out and early check-in please ask the Reception team..

Outside the Lounge B you find an urban vitaparcour for your open air exercises. There you will also find a fitness box with the following equipment: mini band, TRX, tubes, foot weights, training mats, kettlebells, badminton racket incl. net, Kubb game and a Bocca set.

State-of-the-art technology incl. a 85” MS Surface Hub® available for presentation and collaboration. Find out what the multifunction touch screen can do. It’s far beyond a smart-board. 

• The ZDC iLab is the perfect setting to be able to think out of the box and explore different fast prototyping and approaches.
• An additional 65” touch screen helps you to work wireless through the presentation with your colleagues and also to work directly on the screen.
• Using the Samsung digital flipchart enhances today's fast-paced workflow.
• The walls and the table plates are actually white boards (so all your ideas are on the table) and can be lined up.
• The separate lounge in the back of the room allows parallel discussions.

You are welcome to visit the iStudy in Building B where you will find desktops and a multi-functional device.

An iron plus board are available in all our guestrooms.

You will receive a keycard on check-in that allows you access your room and some of the public areas as well as the Fitness & Wellness Center.
You can also use your keycard to enter the garage with your car.

Please do not forget to return your keycard to the Reception when you check-out.

For any unreturned keycards we will have to charge CHF 50 to your account.

The labrooms are equipped with state-of-the-art equipment and mobile furniture for flexible set-up. Meals are not available in the labrooms. For any unreturned keycard we will have to charge CHF 100 to your account.

Laundry service is available from Monday to Friday for an additional fee.

Saturday and Sunday we do not provide any laundry service. For pick-up service please call the Reception at ext. 111 until 9.00 a.m.

A laundry bag and a laundry form are placed in the closet.
The laundry will be picked-up and will be delivered to your room within 24 hours.

The Library, located in Building B, offers e-newspapers and e-magazines and business literature. The Library is open 24 hours. Visit the Library to relax and read in a quiet atmosphere. Here you find an abstract of our available books.

Our Reception will provide assistance in tracing lost items.

Personal massages are available on request for a fee: 
Dorsal back and neck massage, foot reflexology, full-body massage and ZDC relax massage.

We feature also a "Massage Chair", a holistic relaxation system. located in the Wellness Center. One application enables the brain to clarity through stimulation by advanced audio-visual technology, which is used simultaneously with a sophisticated Shiatsu massage chair to provide deep physical regeneration.

All massages are offered in our Wellness Center.

Towels and bathrobes are provided for your convenience.

Since the Zurich Development Center is situated in a residential area, we ask you to kindly respect the neighbor’s privacy and need for silence.

As a guest at the ZDC you can download onto your own device a range of worldwide renowned newspaper. All major and regional Swiss newspapers are also available in this virtual library as well as a wide range of magazine selections.

Parking spaces are available in the underground garage. The garage can be accessed using the keycard you receive upon check-in or by using the Zurich employee badge (Zurich Corporate Center and Zurich Switzerland only).

Relax in the outdoor park areas of the Zurich Development Center.

A photocopier (color) is located in Building F on level F1 next to the service areas as well as in our iStudy in Building B.

We offer a variation of different pillows for the confort of your guests. Here  you find our menu. Please request your pillow with our reception team. 

Luggage transport trolleys are available at the Reception. There is no porter service available.

All printers available are Zurich standard RICOH MFD and “follow-me” function is enabled. 3 extra printing stations are available in F008, F108 and in our iStudy room.

Radio is available in each guestroom using the TV. Please find the current TV and Radio channel overview by pressing “Guide” on your remote control.

The Zurich Development Center is a non-smoking facility. Smoking is prohibited in the guest rooms and all public areas.

The tap water in Switzerland is so good that we can consume it directly from the faucet. In the public areas we feature water fountains for your convenience. In our guestrooms we provide a water carafe to refill.

The Wellness Center includes two sauna (male / female), a steam bath, a massage chair, an infrared cabin and deck chairs. A variation of wellness teas are also available at your convenience.
