Our services

We offer a variety of lunch, apéro and dining opportunities. Our credo: fresh, seasonal, innovative, well-balanced and, whenever possible, locally grown.

À la carte Dining (Casual Dining)

For individual guests an à la carte menu is available in our Restaurant, Maximilian Bircher.
Either pick your favorite dish from the daily specials, a suggestion from our chef,
or chose from our all-time favorite casual dishes.
 

Aperitif

From pre-Dinner snacks to a wide range of Apéro selection suitable for all groups. You can choose between different delicacies from a small pre-dinner snack to an extensive Apéro riche which can also be enjoyed as dinner.

 

Aperitifs can be organized in one of our Lounges, the service Zone F, on either our Terrace A or B (if weather permits), or the Piazza in Building F. 

 

Barbecue

Enjoy an informal BBQ with your group on the Piazza or Terraces in the middle of our Park. Our chefs will freshly prepare the grilled food items and season it according to your preferences.

 

After a long day at work or to kick off your event, our outdoor BBQ event is a highlight of each stay!
 

Buffet lunch or dinner

Starting from 20 persons, our chefs daily compose a fresh, rich and balanced buffet with various salads, cold and warm starters, and main courses with at least one meat, fish and vegetarian option as well as a selection of sweet delicacies. The credo is: A daily varied composition where every guest finds his favorite dish!

 

For small groups we offer our Express Buffets where you have the choice between different components.

 

During summer months and if weather permits, our Buffet is prepared outdoor on our Terraces or Piazza when we also offer fresh homemade Pizza in our outdoor oven.

Business lunch

Our daily offer consists of a three course business lunch. You start with either soup or salad, the main course can be chosen between a fish, meat or vegetarian dish.


For dessert, we offer tasty sweets from our pastry chef or a selection of cheese from the buffet.

We guarantee one hour for the service, including coffee.
 

Coffee breaks

Our philosophy is that we believe food could be used to keep the body healthy rather than simply satisfy hunger. We also believe that nutrition plays a key role in our ability to work.
Our afternoon breaks have been designed with this ethos in mind and we stopped to offer convenience food which contains an abundance of hidden sugar.

Seasonal fruits are always available in the service
zones and you can help yourself with coffee, tea and soft drinks all day long from our self-service areas.
Per half day, one coffee break is included in the lab room fee.
 
As an enhancement for those non ZDC hotel-guests, we offer a welcome coffee in the morning to kick-off
their day!  
 

Fondue Chinoise

“The secret of a good Fondue Chinoise is all about fresh tasty meat and a variety of spicy sauces.” The classic way to chat and feast together!

 

Enjoy a stylish evening among your colleagues with a classic all you can eat meat Fondue at our Restaurant Andy Warhol.

Fondue (winter)

How about a traditional Swiss cheese fondue as a special dinner event during your meeting?

 

For up to 30 people in our Restaurant, Andy Warhol or for bigger groups as an outdoor
dinner on our Terrace A. Cold temperature and hot creamy spicy cheese – a perfect match.
 

Oktoberfest

O'zapft is: Oktoberfest at ZDC: A folk festival among colleagues: Team gathering at The Zurich Home!

 

Come with your team and celebrate Oktoberfest with us. We serve traditional specialities and fresh draught beer.


The Oktoberfest event is usually organised during the month of September and October at ZDC.
 


 

Outdoor Lunch

On a sunny, warm day, our chefs compose daily a fresh, rich and balanced buffet with various salads, cold and warm starters, and main courses with at least one meat and fish (from the grill), a variety of vegetarian options and fresh pizza as well as a selection of sweet delicacies. Our credo is: A daily varied composition where every guest finds his favorite dish!

 

Special dietary requests or food allergies are naturally taken into account.

Raclette (winter)

While you can enjoy raclette everywhere, the best place to try it, is where it was invented: in Switzerland!

 

You start this evening with a taste of our homemade mulled wine while we prepare your raclette on a special apparatus designed to hold a half-wheel of cheese. Along with this deliciousness we serve assorted smoked meat with pickles and mixed salad.

 

Enjoy this melty gooey cheese with your team on our outdoor Terrace A. We will pamper your group with warm blankets to fight off the winter cold!

Snack variations

For groups between 10 - 20 people our Snack variations are the ideal option for a lunch in service Zone F or in one of our Lounges.
 

Sushi lunch

Our Sushi Snacks are available withn our Snack Packages. Our snacks are served either in our Lounges or in the service Zone F.
 

Tavolata Dinner

For small group (8 - 10 persons) we offer a Tavolata Festival. An indulgent evening at a relaxed table setting is the focus for this exceptional dinner.

 

Various delicacies freshly prepared by our kitchen team. The food is presented directly on the table and you may serve yourself according to your appetite. We serve either typical Italian or Moroccan specialties.
